Lenor scent beads are in-wash scent boosters designed to provide an extra layer of long-lasting freshness. The perfume-infused beads dissolve in the wash, even in cold water, plus you can control the fragrance intensity by adjusting the amount of beads you add to each wash. They are designed to deliver outstanding freshness and do not contain a softening active, which makes them suitable for all fabrics.
The science behind a more consistent freshness
Lenor scent beads contain perfume bubbles which are deposited onto the surface of your clothes. These bubbles burst when the fabric is moved to release freshness. Recently we have changed the bubbles from a traditional spherical shape, which would release one big burst of perfume, to a raspberry-like design, which has multiple chambers that burst at different times, enabling longer lasting freshness throughout the day.
How to store Lenor scent beads?
As with any household product, scent beads should be kept out of the reach of children. To ensure the product maintains its quality, keep the scent beads in their original container, tightly sealed, when not in use. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
How to use Lenor scent beads for best results
Using scent beads is simple, but the order is important for them to work correctly.
- Add your laundry detergent: Lenor PODS® are a great partner and should be added to the drum.
- Pour beads into the drum second: before adding any clothes, pour your desired amount of Lenor scent beads directly into the washing machine drum.
- Load your laundry: place your clothes into the drum, on top of the beads.
- Add your Lenor fabric softener: this goes in the fabric softener chamber in the drawer.
- Start the wash: Select your preferred wash cycle. The beads will dissolve completely, even in cold and quick washes.
Avoid placing the scent beads in the detergent or softener drawers or adding the scent beads after the clothes in the drum. Scent beads are designed to dissolve in the drum with water and clothes, so always add them to the drum first.
